The Old Growth Again Heritage Picnic Table with Benches is a specialty table built using extra-wide boards which further display the high quality redwood. The heritage design is available in six, eight, ten, twelve and fourteen foot lengths with benches attached or separate. The Heritage Picnic Table with Benches are constructed from old-growth redwood, which is strong, stable and comfortable for people of all sizes. To limit cracking on the extra wide board heritage tables, it is best to shield them from much direct sun. Extra seating can be created by adding end benches to any table set. All tables can be ordered with a 2 inch diameter umbrella hole drilled at the center of the tabletop.

The cracks on the ends of the heritage tables usually do not extend more than a few inches. But, sometimes they form a sharp edge. This can be remedied by lightly sanding the sharp edge with a piece of 80 grit sandpaper. Redwood is easy to sand and this can be done in less than a minute by hand. If a crack is distracting and you'd like to fill it, then use a polyurethane based glue (like Gorilla brand glue). Just fill the crack with it and let it dry, then lightly sand the area. The polyurethane glue expands with the wood. Any cracks will not affect the structural integrity of a table. The table will last for decades with or without some cracks!

Eight-Foot Heritage Picnic Table

The eight-foot heritage picnic table is built with two eighteen-inch wide boards as the tabletop and one twelve-inch wide board as each bench top. The 36 inch length bench provides more comfortable seating which has the same width as of the tabletop, and works well if your main benches are attached to the table.

Ten-Foot Heritage Picnic Table

The tabletop and bench tops are built using extra-wide boards to highlight the high quality redwood. The 10 foot heritage picnic table is built with two 18 inch wide boards as the tabletop and one 12 inch wide board as each bench top. The 36 inch length bench provides more comfortable seating which has the same width as of the tabletop, and works well if your main benches are attached to the table.

Twelve-Foot Heritage Picnic Table

The twelve-foot heritage picnic table is built with two 18 inch wide boards as the tabletop and one 12 inch wide board as each bench top. The 12 feet table has three sets of legs to prevent any possibility of sagging. The 36 inch length bench provides more comfortable seating which has the same width as of the tabletop, and works well if your main benches are attached to the table.

Fourteen-Foot Heritage Picnic Table

The fourteen-foot heritage picnic table is built with 48 inch tabletop using three 16 inch boards and six separate heritage table benches. The 48 inch length bench provides comfortable seating which has the same width as of the tabletop, and works well if your main benches are attached to the table.

We handcraft fine outdoor furniture to fund the restoration of our 580-acre forest restoration project in Annapolis, CA. Excessive logging has made old-growth redwood trees (over 200 years old) rare outside of parks. When our ancient forest was cut in the 1950's, many logs were left on the ground. We mill some of this old-growth into exquisite, tight-grain furniture that is no longer available anywhere else. We also carefully harvest small amounts of younger trees to make the same furniture for less cost. Either way, we offer decay-proof, maintenance-free outdoor furniture and your dollars go to restore instead of degrade forestland.
